Variety selection is expertly matched to the available vineyard sites and  simple winemaking techniques  are complemented by good blending of resultant small wine parcels. Hence classic dry Riesling from Eden Valley, bold flavoursome Pinot Gris from the warm end of the Adelaide Hills at Kersbrook, spicy Merlot from the cool northern end of the Barossa, modern vibrant Shiraz from Eden Valley blended with Barossa Valley which maintains the fresh spicy, herbal notes from the northern Barossa in ever warming seasons and luscious Late Harvest Semillon expressing the strength of this classic variety in warm years and the "on the vine" concentration which is readily available in the Barossa.

Gibson Wines is a small family owned winery nestled at the high northern end of the Barossa Valley in South Australia. A specialist producer of limited quantities of premium table wines, it is fast garnering a reputation as a reliable producer of richly flavoured and complex wine.

Rob, Anne and family produce a mere 5000 cases of wine. Fruit is sourced from predominately estate grown fruit with small selections coming from contracted grower fruit for added diversity come blending time.

On 'Sunday Fundays' Gibson Wines have food, wine and a live band playing at their cellar door. Kick back and relax. There's a marquee come rain, hail or shine. Entry is free. Check the website for dates.
