BarossaVale Wines Pty Ltd ABN 66 088 377 628 (“BVW”) is bound by and complies with the National Privacy Principles (“NPP’s”) under the Privacy Act 1988. In accordance with the NPP’s our policy for collecting and using personal information that you disclose to us while visiting this website is explained below.

Information we collect BVW may collect the following information for marketing purposes to identify the most useful and popular sections of this site and to generally improve this site:

  • your server address;
  • domain name;
  • the date and time of your visit to our site;
  • the pages viewed and information downloaded;
  • the previous site visited; and
  • the type of browser used.

No attempt will be made to identify users by their browsing activities.

Materials Submitted by You

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of South Australia.


Delivery Policy

Wine Orders will be despatched within 2 -3 working days from receipt of your order, however we will not despatch wine during extreme heat waves to ensure the product gets to you in perfect condition. We are able to track you order through our courier.


Returns and Refund Policy

Should you receive a product that appears to have been Damaged in Transit you can:


  1. Refuse to accept delivery of the product and demand the delivery company Return the product to Sender. We will then either:
  • provide you with replacement product if available;
  • provide you with an alternate product of your choice from our range to the total value of the damaged product; or
  • provide you with a full refund.


  1. If you have already accepted delivery and then notice the product has been damaged during transit, we will either:
  • provide you with replacement product if available;
  • provide you with an alternate product of your choice from our range to the total value of the damaged product; or
  • provide you with a refund to the value of the damaged product.


Should you receive a product that is different to the one you ordered, we will either:

  • pay for the return of the product and provide you with the correct product if available;
  • refund the difference in value if the received product is of lower value than the ordered product; or
  • pay for the return of the product and provide you with a full refund.


Should you receive product that is faulty or corked, we will either:

  • pay for the return of the faulty or corked product and provide you with replacement product if available;
  • pay for the return of the faulty or corked product and provide you with alternate product of your choice from our range to the total value of the faulty or corked product; or
  • pay for the return of the faulty or corked product and provide you with a full refund.


Collection of Information

In order to use the Barossavale Wines payment gateway, we require information relating to your Internet Merchant Facility (including your Merchant Number, Terminal ID and/or Settlement Account, depending on your merchant bank), Company Details, Contact Details, and Payment Details.


Company details may include your company name, website, email address, type of business and ABN.


Contact details may include your name, email address, telephone number and address.


Payment details may include credit card details and/or direct debit details.


All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regard to sales, support and accounts, including Email.


Any information collected by Barossavale Wines is collected via correspondence from you or your company. This may be via the telephone, Email, or directly through our website.


Use of Collection Information

Any Internet Merchant Facility, Company Details, Contact Details, and Payment Details collected from Barossavale Wine customers is required in order to provide you with our payment gateway product, and a high level of customer service.


Correspondence is recorded in order to provide service references, and to assist in our staff development. All Prices in AUD $


Security of Ordering Online

Gibson wines is committed to ensuring your security when ordering online. We have technical systems in place to ensure your security when providing your credit card details.


We use eWay to process your credit card payment. Your credit card details are never handled by our system and we do not receive a copy of your credit card number. eWay is a trusted Australian Credit Card processor that is used by thousands of websites to process credit cards online and Paypal is a trusted online payment provider that handles millions of online transactions a day
