Adam fancies this variety and went out to make one with a winemaker friend 4 years ago…it was so good we bought it!
Quite a mild dry season with good weather conditions through harvest & those with irrigation did well.
Intense aromas of fresh pear skin, honey dew and baked apple are complemented by nuances of frangipani and almond meal.
The palate displays a soft and generous mouthfeel with fresh flavours of pear, melon and apple and finishing with a soft and balanced acidity. It will accompany summer cuisine beautifully. It will also entertain on its own “over conversation, on the deck”.
