2018 season enjoyed good winter rain and a fine dry harvest period. A hot October was followed by average temperatures with a cool period in March…good ripening and harvest conditions and hence good flavour development.
Ruby red colour. Fresh mulberry and black cherry fruit characters on the nose with savoury spice and herb notes. The palate is medium bodied and soft, well-structured with juicy red cherry flavours balanced with refreshing acidity and dry grainy tannins and a soft, dry savouriness lingering at the end.
