We’re very proud that Gibson Wines has again featured in the annual ‘Top Wineries of Australia’ roll call, according to prominent wine commentary platform, The Real Review.
The Real Review ‘Top Wineries of Australia’ Certificate is awarded to a select group of wineries that consistently produce excellent wine. Led by principal Australian wine writer, Huon Hooke, with a team of contributors including Aaron Brasher, Stuart Knox, Gabrielle Poy and Ralph Kyte-Powell, the annual award takes into account the rating and recency of reviews by The Real Review team over the assessment period.
The Real Review release mentions “There are 389 Top Wineries of Australia this year: as there are 2,156 wineries in Australia, all 389 are in the top 18%. It’s an outstanding achievement. These are the crème de la crème of Australian wineries.”
Amongst several Gold Medal and Top Rank commendations over the past 12 months, Gibson’s 2015 Bin 65 Barossa Shiraz lays claim to the ‘#1 Barossa Valley Shiraz of 2015 vintage‘, of 149 reviewed.
